June 29, 2012: Friedrich Air Conditioning Names President and Executive Vice President

SAN ANTONIO — Friedrich Air Conditioning has announced the appointments of Chuck Campbell as president and Tracy Peterson as executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Campbell joined Friedrich in 2010 as vice president of marketing and sales. He brings more than 25 years of international business experience in general management, sales, and operations to his new position. Prior to joining Friedrich, he held executive-level positions with Munters and General Electric. Campbell reports to George Van Hoomissen, Friedrich’s CEO, who previously served as the company’s interim president.

Peterson joined Friedrich in 2006 as vice president of administration and chief financial officer. He has 18 years of experience in executive and financial positions across a range of industries. In his new role, Peterson will assume broader responsibility for oversight of the company’s operations.

Van Hoomissen stated, “There are significant opportunities to grow our business and better serve our customers. These organizational changes will enable us to pursue those goals more effectively.”

Campbell said, “I’m very excited to take the helm at Friedrich. We have a great group of customers and employees and an exciting product lineup that we will continue to innovate.”
