June 13, 2012: LAMA Books Releases New Publication on Installing Residential Forced Air Furnaces

HAYWARD, Calif. — LAMA Books has announced the release of Installing Residential Forced Air Furnaces by Leo Meyer and Michael Bugaeff. According to the company, this book explains in a concise, easy-to-read style how to properly remove an old furnace and safely replace it with a new high-efficiency furnace, and is ideal for service technicians, contractors, sheet metal workers, or anyone dealing with HVAC systems.

In the book, Meyer and Bugaeff guide the reader through the critical steps to remove an existing residential furnace and properly install a new high-efficiency furnace. Easy-to-follow instructions call attention to important safety tips, and also show how to correctly install a thermostat, power wiring, piping, ductwork, and vents. Information on installing a split system is included. Contractors and service technicians will also find a chapter dealing with customer relations as well as review questions at the end of each chapter that highlight the important details.

The new book is the 20th volume in LAMA Book’s Indoor Environment Technician’s (IET) Library.

“I use this book along with the others in the Indoor Environment Technician’s Library series in my own company,” said Kevin Comeford, Service Champions. “I love the review questions at the end of each chapter because they let me know if my people are getting the information to sink in. The books are very informative and easy to read. They help tremendously with comprehension.”

Installing Residential Forced Air Furnaces is available from LAMA Books for $30 (sale price). To order, go to www.lamabooks.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=383.
