Virtual Green Expo logoTROY, Mich. — The Virtual Green Expo, an online event sponsored by The NEWS and other BNP Media magazines, is scheduled to return Aug. 2, 2012.

The third annual Virtual Green Expo is accessible from any mobile device and is free to attend. The event will exhibit unique and vital information from experts focused on how to green existing buildings. Topics will include energy, jobs, renovations/retrofitting, LEED, furnishings, lighting, IAQ, interior design, roofing, building envelopes, HVAC units, plumbing systems, and more.

The event offers beneficial information for contractors, architects, building owners, carpeting professionals, consultants, facility managers, and more.

“This a fast, easy, convenient, and cost-effective way to learn more about the industry you represent,” said Kelly A. Shekell, online events manager, BNP Media. “All you have to do is log onto your computer from the comfort of your office or home and join in.”

Attendees may attend keynote performances and webinars, earn American Institute of Architects (AIA) or U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) continuing education credits, view technology demonstrations, visit exhibits, network with peers, and much more.

More than 1,300 individuals attended last year’s expo, and even more are anticipated to attend this year’s event. For more information, or to register, visit www.thevirtualgreenexpo.com.
