For use in extreme operating environments, a complete line of Streamline® sight glass-moisture indicators are designed to provide accurate identification of system operating conditions by way of a large viewing window and sensitive contrasting paper indicator. They have working pressures to 700 psig (48 bar) at a temperature range from -40 to 185ºF (-40 to 85ºC). The sight glass-moisture indicators are designed for maximum flow and minimum pressure drop. Three styles of sight glass/moisture indicators are available: hermetically sealed, hermetically sealed copper body, and replaceable element copper body. The hermetically sealed units feature solid-brass body construction and are available in six sizes from 1/4 to 7/8 inches (6 to 22 mm). The hermetically sealed copper body style features copper construction and is available in four sizes from 1-1/8 to 2-1/8 inches (29 to 54 mm). The replaceable element copper body style features copper construction with a replaceable brass sight glass. It is available in four sizes from 1-1/8 to 2-1/8 inches (29 to 54 mm). According to the manufacturer, the sight glass-moisture indicators are compatible with all chlorofluorocarbon (CFC), hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC), and hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants and oils.
