ANAHEIM, Calif. — The National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) held its 2012 annual conference, April 26-28 at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel in Anaheim, Calif.

Neil Marshall, NEBB president; Branko Terzic, Deloitte Center for Energy Solutions; Raj Manchanda, director of technology, American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME); and Michael Cables, president-elect, Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA); provided opening comments. They addressed the conference’s theme of building a bridge to the future. Ron Jarnagin, president, ASHRAE, served as the keynote speaker.

NEBB presented the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) with a $10,000 check for the ASHRAE Golden Circle, which supports industry research.

The conference featured numerous technical sessions, which covered the Federal Buildings Personnel Training Act, building information modeling, net zero energy renovations, clean room commissioning, velocity measurement, and more. In addition to the technical sessions, representatives from Deloitte, the Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Green Building Council, General Services Administration, and other organizations were present.
