The Energy Star®-rated compact fluorescent lamp provides diffused, uniform illumination with the 18-W CFL bulb. The unit includes a dual duct adapter, which gives the contractor the ability to install it in a 4- or 6-inch duct without having to purchase an additional adapter. It operates at noise levels as low as 0.8 sones. According to the manufacturer, Underwriter’s Laboratory (UL) labeled WhisperRecessed as IC-rated, a label that indicates to professionals that the lighting fixture can be installed with direct contact with insulation. The fan-light comes with a three-year warranty.
