Description: Customers can conduct side-by-side comparisons on properties such as capacity, efficiency, and global warming potential (GWP). A built-in refrigerant calculator determines how much new refrigerant is needed to run a system, and a distributor locator helps users find a Honeywell Genetron® wholesaler. A colorful display allows HVAC mechanics to select various refrigerants and view necessary data. Touch-screen capabilities allow users to quickly calculate superheat and subcool average values as needed to accurately set a control.

“Recent activity by the EPA [Environmental Protection Agency] to reduce manufacturers’ allocations of R-22 has many customers looking for alternatives to retrofit their systems. Our R-22 retrofit comparison app lets them evaluate up to three refrigerants at a time to help them make the right decision for their operation.”
— Ron Vogl, technical marketing manager, Honeywell Fluorine Products.
