Opportunity Fair for Subcontractors to be Held for Chicago O'Hare Project

CHICAGO — The McHugh/Ornelas Joint Venture, along with Westfield Concession Management, will host an opportunity fair May 15 for qualified subcontractors in union trades including demolition, concrete, steel, doors and hardware, carpentry, tile and terrazzo flooring, toilet accessories, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical. The opportunity fair kicks off the Chicago O’Hare Terminal 5 concession redevelopment project. Firms that are certified MBE or WBE should bring a copy of their current certification.

Two sessions will be available: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. or 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The sessions are identical so interested parties should attend only one session. The opportunity fair will be held at the Chicago Department of Aviation Building, 10510 West Zemke Road, Chicago, IL 60666.

The McHugh/Ornelas Joint Venture was selected to provide general contracting services to Westfield Concession Management for its portion of the redevelopment of Terminal 5. Project scope includes expanding and renovating the existing concessions area and relocating the current TSA checkpoint.

McHugh/Ornelas project team members will be on hand to discuss the project, along with representatives from Westfield.
