TORONTO — The Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) and Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH) recently hosted more than 320 attendees at a gala in support of Habitat for Humanity at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel. Since their partnership began in 1994, CIPH has donated more than $8.1 million to Habitat for Humanity. A fundraising committee has set an aggressive goal to raise $2.75 million in product and cash for Habitat for Humanity Canada by the end of 2013. The recent gala event helped net the committee more than $533,000.
