The light commercial WeatherMaker® Series rooftops unit sizes have been expanded up to 27.5 tons. With an AHRI-certified rating of up to 10.4 EER, the new WeatherMaker® 48/50TC unit offers highly efficient indoor fan motors and handled access doors. According to the manufacturer, the WeatherMaker 48/50TC is a great base efficiency option for the constant air volume segment. The 27.5-ton unit utilizes scroll compressors and highly engineered round tube plate fin coils. The 48TC is a gas heating/electric cooling model, while the 50TC comes in electric heating/electric cooling and cooling only models.
