The Alfa Laval PureCooler is ideal for dry-expansion evaporation and is a dedicated solution for evaporation in high-efficiency chillers, the company says. The PureCooler is optimized for R134a refrigerants, with a capacity range from 120 – 2,200 kW at normal conditions. The PureCooler offers higher efficiency due to the highly efficient single-pass and counter-current design, as well as a new patented refrigerant distribution system.
