Nordyne Launches Online Training Venue

ST. LOUIS — HVAC contractors can now access online training 24/7 through the new Nordyne University at www.nordyneU.com.

Starting this month, technical furnace training courses on www.nordyneU.com also earn North American Technician Excellence (NATE) credits towards recertification. The G7 furnace training series qualifies for four hours of Continuing Education through NATE.

Nordyne University also offers paid business training from leading industry trainers, including Rich Meyers, Frank Besednjak, Bill Ligon, and Jim Hinshaw. Topics range from managing difficult people to improving the profitability of the company to creating a business Facebook page.

The site also offers free training on topics such as navigating the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) database, performing Manual J load calculations from a smart phone, using social media for business, and repairing a microchannel condenser coil. Video categories include sales/marketing, industry, technical, and product news. Contractors can sign up for free weekly video tips through the Nordyne University site.
