Dec. 16, 2011: Extech Relocates to New Facility in Nashua, N.H.

NASHUA, N.H. — Extech Instruments, makers of handheld test and measurement tools, has announced the relocation of its headquarters to a new facility in Nashua, N.H. To accommodate growth and to better serve customers, Extech said that it is moving, along with the Billerica, Mass., operations of parent company FLIR Systems’ Commercial Systems division, to 9 Townsend West, Nashua, NH 03063-1233.

According to the company, the new state-of-the-art headquarters signals Extech’s and FLIR’s transition towards a unified organization that can better equip customers with thermal imagers as well as handheld test and measurement tools.

Arpineh Mullaney, vice president for Extech Instruments, said, “As a test equipment company with a 40-year history of innovation, we are excited to embark on the next four decades with a facility that better positions us to continue our leadership in the test and measurement market.”

In the coming months, the Nashua location will house the eastern U.S. operations for FLIR’s Commercial Systems division, supporting the FLIR and Extech brands, as well as FLIR’s marine systems division, Raymarine. The new location will house administrative and corporate offices, customer service and technical support, marketing and sales, quality control, NIST calibration laboratories, repair services, and an extensive warehouse. FLIR’s educational institute, the Infrared Training Center, will also be moving to the Nashua location in January 2012.

Extech’s toll free number (U.S.) remains unchanged: 877-239-8324. The new local number is 603-324-7800.
