CAROL STREAM, Ill. — Mayor Frank Saverino proclaimed October the first annual Healthy Home Month at a ribbon-cutting and rededication ceremony. This initiative was launched by A.W.E., formerly The Air Conditioning & Heating Company, to encourage homeowners to follow simple steps to ensure thoughtful DIY maintenance steps that can save money, improve indoor air quality, and extend the lives of necessary home functions of air, water and energy.

Mayor Saverino and Grimm were joined by members of the Carol Stream Chamber of Commerce and State Representative Randy Ramey for the ribbon cutting and rededication ceremony to officially proclaim October “Healthy Home Month,” and to celebrate the reinvention of the 100-year-old company’s new name and expanded services. A.W.E. now offers one-call service for homeowner’s core systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical services, energy audits, air quality testing, and solar panel installation and testing.
