CHICAGO — Sloan Global Holdings LLC, an affiliate company of Sloan Valve Co., a leading manufacturer of commercial plumbing systems, announced that it has purchased a significant interest in Aztec Solar Power LLC, a leading solar engineering, purchasing, and construction company. Sloan said this purchase makes it possible for the company to offer both water and energy efficient products that will support further expansion of green building and renewable energy practices, and reduce waste and pollution.

“Incorporating solar power to our range of solutions allows us to offer a truly holistic approach to natural resource management. It’s a move that fits our long-term goals because we believe it’s the key to creating a better environment for future generations,” said Jim Allen, president of Sloan Global Holdings LLC. “More immediately, our customers will benefit from our investment in Aztec because we will be able to provide even more innovative solutions to help them reduce costs, increase efficiencies, and maintain a commitment to the environment.”

“Aztec is fortunate to partner with Sloan, a company that has been a driving force in innovating sustainable solutions to address both customer and environmental needs,” said Sharon Altman, president and founder of Aztec. “We look forward to working together to provide clean energy solutions and promote a better understanding of solar energy and all of its advantages.”

“We believe that clean energy, especially solar power, is the next frontier toward a more sustainable future,” added Allen.
