SMACNA’s 2011 Safety Excellence Award Program (SSEAP) broke a record this year — the average number of lost workdays per injury or illness incident was 3.46, the lowest rate ever reported. First-place safety award winners were recognized for their companies’ outstanding safety performance during the 68th Annual Convention Recognition Lunch.
The SSEAP allows SMACNA to track the safety history of the industry and recognize members for outstanding safety performance. SMACNA congratulated John Santivasci of CMC Sheet Metal on having an excellent year.
