LG Electronics’ Commercial Air Conditioning launched its new website,www.lg-dfs.com, dedicated to its duct-free systems (DFS), like the Art Cool Inverter Mirror and Art Cool Picture. According to the company, the website is a user-friendly, simplified experience designed to educate users on DFS. The site uses advanced return-user recognition technology to customize content and improve the user’s access to information.

After answering a pair of simple questions — “Who are you?” and “What are you looking for?” — visitors are directed to information that will suit their needs. Their answers are saved on the website, so the next time they visit, they can easily access relevant information.

The site includes:

• Technical literature organized with convenient drop-down menus to access product-specific brochures, spec sheets, AHRI certificates, white papers, and engineering manuals.

• The LG Engineering Binder, an all-inclusive e-book containing all relevant files and information about LG’s DFS products.

• Educational resources, including information about courses at LG’s HVAC training academies located throughout the U.S.

• LG’s Contractor Locator for homeowners searching for LG-trained contractors to install duct-free HVAC units.

“After launching the LG VRF website for our variable refrigerant flow technology, we knew we could offer more of our expertise and knowledge to the industry. LG-DFS.com is the next step accomplishing our goal to work with industry professionals to improve every aspect of the commercial air conditioning business,” said Kevin McNamara, vice president of commercial air conditioning, LG Electronics USA.
