FRESH MEADOWS, N.Y. — US Energy Group and Ace-Atlas Heating Corp. are presenting an educational roundtable event on Nov. 9, 2011, 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Taj Lounge in Manhattan. Industry experts will lead a discussion titled “Fuel, Energy & Water Efficiency: Affordable System Solutions & Rebates.” The roundtable, which is open to owners and managers of multifamily residential and commercial properties in New York City, will feature Warren Gary of Lockheed Martin, Asit Patel of ANP Energy Consulting, and Steve Mosto of Mach Energy.

Gary is an expert on the rebate programs offered by Con Edison. These incentives are administered by Lockheed Martin, and Gary will explain what programs are offered and how to qualify. Patel will speak from an engineer’s perspective about energy management technology. He will explain how the hardware integrates with the system to reduce fuel consumption. Mosto is an expert in web-based energy monitoring software, which provides owners and managers with the information to make intelligent decisions about their buildings. He will show how to use this technology to proactively manage buildings, including how to identify maintenance jobs that can prevent expensive repairs in the future.

“We have quite a group of panelists,” said Jerry Pindus, CEO of US Energy Group. “It’s all about making the most of incentives, while also cutting energy, fuel, and water usage day-to-day.”

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a reception, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. At 6 p.m., David Unger, COO of US Energy Group, will introduce the three panelists, who will each give a presentation. Dinner will begin at 7 p.m., during which the panelists will answer questions.

The roundtable will include an opportunity to network after the event formally ends. The roundtable event is free and open to all New York City building owners and property managers. Advance reservations are required and seating is limited. To RSVP, email ethan@use-group.com. For more information, visit www.use-group.com.
