WESTPORT, Conn. — The 2012 AHR Expo®-Mexico is on track to celebrate its 10th anniversary as the largest HVACR event in Mexico on Sept. 25-27 at Cintermex in Monterrey, Mexico.

“All early indicators are that the 2012 show will be another strong event as it is already nearly the same size as last year’s very successful expo, which set an all-time attendance record,” said Clay Stevens, president of International Exposition Company (IEC), which produces and manages the AHR Expo-Mexico. “We are also rapidly approaching the size of our largest-ever Latin America event that was held in Monterrey in 2008.”

Nearly 300 leading equipment suppliers from around the world will be showcasing their latest products to more than 10,000 HVACR professionals from Latin America. The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Monterrey Chapter will also offer more than 30 educational seminars in conjunction with the show. The 2012 AHR Expo-Mexico is co-sponsored by ASHRAE and the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration
Institute (AHRI) and endorsed by eight associations.

Since the first AHR-Expo-Mexico was launched in 1997, the show has almost doubled in attendance and grown nearly 20 percent in square footage. The show is produced by the International Exposition Co. (IEC), which also manages and produces AHR Expo in the United States.
