Condensing commercial boilers — the PF-850 (850,000 Btu) and the PF-1000 (1 million Btu) — have been added to the Peerless PureFire® line of products, part of the Peerless Boilers brand. The boilers have ASME and ETL certifications for both the United States and Canada and are available for either natural or LP gas. Thermal efficiency is near 97 percent. According to the manufacturer, each boiler has a unique condensate system with built-in neutralizer component and float switch protection. Features include a high-grade stainless steel burner and heat exchanger, 10 to 1 turndown, and environmentally-friendly low NOx operation. The fully modulating burner ensures dependable operation and maximum boiler efficiency. The direct vent, sealed combustion boilers also offer installation flexibility; they can be stacked to give maximum Btu in minimum space. All PureFire commercial gas boilers are equipped with a state-of-the-art control board that features outdoor reset control and domestic hot-water priority. The boilers are cascade-capable and the PF-850 and PF-1000 can be common vented to lower installation costs. The boilers are fully compliant with building management systems and, with the addition of a low-water cutoff, are CSD-1 compliant.
