Purdue Calls for Papers

Purdue University has issued a call for papers in conjunction with its three concurrent HVACR conferences in July of 2012. They are the 21st International Compressor Engineering Conference, the 14th International Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Conference, and the 2nd International High Performance Buildings Conference. The every other year conferences will take place July 16-19 with a series of short courses on July 14-15. All will be held on the Purdue campus in West Lafayette, Ind.

Regarding papers, the following has been established as a timeline:

Dec. 12: Abstract submission deadline.

Jan. 15: Abstract acceptance notification and instructions to authors for manuscript preparation.

March 30: Manuscript submission deadline, at which time the presenting author must be registered for the conference.

April 27: Notification to presenting authors of acceptance or rejection of manuscripts. (If paper is rejected, registration fee is reimbursed in full.)

May 25: Pre-registration for conference ends. Final versions of papers must be uploaded or final paper will not be published in the proceedings.

There will also be a Student Paper Competition with monetary prizes given for the top three papers. Information on the conference can be obtained at engineering.purdue.edu/herrick/events which provides a link to the abstract and paper submission site.
