Course Title: NATE Gas and Oil Heating Preparation Training Seminar

Course Description: The seminar prepares those who are looking to take the NATE Gas and/or Oil Furnace exam(s). Attendees will be armed with knowledge that will be helpful when taking the exam(s). Topics to be covered during the seminar include: introduction to gas and oil heating, combustion, furnace installation, venting, airflow, troubleshooting, oil burners, oil tanks, and preventive maintenance. This seminar is designed for HVAC contractors, service technicians, installers, building and facility managers, maintenance managers, engineering managers, building service managers, building and grounds supervisors, maintenance supervisors, project managers, maintenance and repair technicians, students and instructors. Seminar attendees will receive a personalized certificate of completion if pre-registered (on-site registrants will have it mailed to them after the seminar). Seminar attendees will have the option to take the following exams after the seminar: RSES Certificate Member, RSES Specialist Member, EPA Section 608 Certification, Universal R-410A Certification, and NATE series of exams. The NATE series of exams are available as electronic tests. Course Title: Radiant Academy

Course Description: The course addresses what radiant heat is, the history of radiant heat, the system types and components, how to design a system, the PEX manufacturing process, and pre-engineered panels. A part of the class covers how the manufacturer’s free design process works and the company’s radiant products. Hands-on training and a factory tour is included.
