Chillgard LC, LE, and RT Series refrigerant monitors are available with BACnet compatibility. This feature is achieved via an external gateway provided by Industrial Control Communications Inc. This connection outputs standard BACnet through both Chillgard Monitor RS-485 ports. According to the manufacturer, BACnet protocol allows for nonintrusive gas concentration monitoring and alarm status. The Chillgard RS-485 port provides BACnet connection output. No configuration is necessary; data is automatically mapped into the database upon protocol selection.
