Sept. 13, 2011: Rheem Names Fristik to Lead Corporate National Accounts and Marketing

ATLANTA — Rheem has announced that Joseph A. Fristik has been appointed corporate vice president, national accounts and marketing. He will be responsible for developing new residential and commercial national sales accounts, and expanding existing accounts.

According to the company, Fristik will oversee business-to-business initiatives that promote the company’s integrated air and water technologies and its comprehensive support network. His work will target specific industries that depend on reliable and efficient heating, cooling and water heating systems, such as national builders, foodservice companies, and retail franchises, said the company. He will also lead the Rheem corporate marketing team and will be responsible for brand strategy, communications, web development, trade show management, merchandising, advertising, and promotions.

Fristik has been an active member of several industry associations, including the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI); Heating, Airconditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI); North American Technician Excellence (NATE); Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT); Small Motor Manufacturers Association (SMMA); and American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA).

Fristik will be located at Rheem headquarters in Atlanta and will report to Chris Peel, senior vice president and COO. Reporting to Fristik will be Ed Raniszeski, corporate director, marketing, and Mike Barnes, corporate director, national accounts.
