HARDI and BNP Announce Name and Brand of New Distributor-Focused Publication
“On behalf of BNP Media, The NEWS, and partner magazine SNIPS, we are very excited to be launching Distribution Center magazine as the official publication for such an outstanding organization as HARDI,” said Mike Murphy, editor-in-chief of The NEWS.
“We are bringing our best talent from BNP Media together with the resources of HARDI; I can assure everyone that this will be the most professional, reliable, and informative magazine in the distribution market.”
Distribution Center will reach approximately 11,000 industry professionals bimonthly, with the inaugural issue slated for January 2012. The printed publication will be complemented by a digital version and dedicated website. Additional distributor-focused content will appear in a special Distribution Center section within The NEWS currently scheduled for six times per year. The Distribution Center brand will also be used in the development of industry-specific supplements, a monthly enewsletter and several publications dedicated to HARDI events and initiatives.
“We’ve put a lot of effort into mapping an editorial strategy with BNP Media that will provide robust and valuable information across all aspects of those involved with HVACR wholesale distribution,” said HARDI executive vice president/COO, Talbot Gee.
“We’ll be unveiling the format to those attending our annual conference in October and educating our various committees and councils on how to fully use this new, powerful tool to their maximum advantage.”
