Jim Ziegler, service manager at Custom Aire in Bensalem, Pa., is the first winner of The NEWS’ 2011 Dealer Design Product Giveaway. He received Comfort Products Inc.’s ComfortPLENUM — a 21- by 21-inch sheet metal plenum with 2-inch insulation on the interior of the plenum.

“During my seldom-available downtime, I came across the entry form for the Dealer Design Awards competition while reading through the articles in the electronic subscription I have with The NEWS,” said Ziegler. “In this heavily competitive market, this product will help us to promote our company and distinguish ourselves as a company that prefers to lead than follow.”

The next prize to be won is Resource Conservation Technologies’ Titan secondary condensate pan 26 by 26 inch or larger, an AquaGuard® magnetic float switch system, and their choice of either a Goliath 4- or 7-inch-high furnace risers.

Users on the site can submit daily entries, placing them in a random drawing for the Resource Conservation Technologies prize package. The more entries submitted, the better the chances of winning. The winner will be announced in an upcoming issue of The NEWS.

While at the site entering the product giveaway, visitors can take a moment to cast their vote for their favorite product in the 2011 Readers’ Choice Awards. The voting ballot changes weekly, and the brackets are updated as results are tabulated. The final winner will be announced in October, and the voting will continue until then.
