Tecumseh Establishes Distributor Network

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Tecumseh Products Co. has established a broad network of Authorized Wholesale Distributors in Mexico as part of its renewed commitment to the country’s growing refrigeration and air conditioning market. A total of 11 geographically-dispersed distributors are now in place.

Tecumseh began work to establish the network with meetings emanating from the AHR Expo-Mexico trade show last September in Mexico City. Each authorized distributor was chosen for its location, dedication to the refrigeration and air conditioning trade, and commitment to carrying out Tecumseh’s marketing strategy and sales vision.

Tecumseh’s Authorized Wholesale Distributor network in Mexico now includes the following: Corporación Revisa (Monterrey, N.L.), Proesa TechnoGas (Guadalajara, Jal.), Equipos de Refrigeración Cuitlahuac (México D.F.), Reccom (Veracruz, Ver.), Reindycom (Leon, Gto.), Technopro (Cancún, Quintana Roo), Iersa (Manzanillo, Col.), Totaline Carrier (México D.F.), Servipartes Trane (Naucalpan, Edo de México), Profe Part (Mexicali, B.C.), Refrigeración Centeno (Toluca, Edo de México).

Tecumseh’s TPC Refrigeration de Mexico manufacturing and distribution facility will serve as the new supply hub for air conditioning and refrigeration compressors, condensing units, and replacement components. The Monterrey-based operation was established by Tecumseh in late 2009 and also produces a broad array of commercial refrigeration condensing units.
