BOWIE, Md. — Crockett Facilities Services Inc. (CFSI), a leading provider of facilities operations and maintenance, mechanical contracting, and HVAC services to government and commercial clients, announced that it has received a five-year, $14 million contract from the U.S. Department of State to provide facilities management, operations, and maintenance services to two commercial buildings located in Washington, D.C. The contract is scheduled to commence on Sept. 1, 2011.

CFSI’s scope of work includes on-site project management, equipment operations, preventive/predictive maintenance, equipment watches/tours/repairs, service calls, architectural/structural systems, building alterations and escort services. CFSI will be responsible for the operations of the buildings’ HVAC systems, domestic water equipment systems, electrical distribution equipment, sanitary sewage, storm drainage, and utilities.

As part of the competitive bid process, CFSI’s request for proposal (RFP) included administrative, financial, and technical components. The extensive document also contained financial data, safety records, key personnel resumes, organizational charts, operations and management plans and past performance references.
