The 9 Series insulation coupling system is designed specifically for iron pipe sizes. It was created to expand the current copper tube size offerings. The patented coupling allows elastomeric and fiberglass insulation to be secured at suspension points and eliminates having to double wrap, glue, and tape insulation. According to the manufacturer, the insulation couplings significantly reduce the time required to secure pipe and tube used for refrigerant lines, hot- and cold-water plumbing, and chilled, water systems. The insulation coupling system is UL-classified for use in air-handling systems.
