The trigeneration packages - combined cooling, heating, and power (CCHP) - combine cogeneration (combined heat and power) with the Eco-Max™ adsorption chillers, which convert waste heat into chilled water for air conditioning or process use. The packages enable simultaneous production of power, heat, and cooling from a single heat source and result in overall system efficiency. Waste heat from factory processes, CHP, or solar thermal collectors can drive the adsorption chillers. The trigeneration chillers are available in generating capacities from 200 kW to 2 MW. The power can be generated by micro turbines, reciprocating engines, or fuel cells. Each package includes CHP equipment; an Eco-Max adsorption chiller; and cooling tower, pumps, piping, and sensors for the generator and chiller, mounted on skids.
