ELGIN, Ill. - James W. Edge, 66, passed away May 18 at Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge, Ill. He was a co-owner of the ESCO Institute in Mount Prospect, Ill.

Born Jan. 13, 1945, in Chicago, he served in the Army during the Vietnam War, and enjoyed golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Mr. Edge is survived by his wife of 41 years, Geri; children Dina (Rich) Zochowski and Daniel (Stacey) Edge; grandsons Jason and Ryan Zochowski; sister, Marlene (Ron) Campbell; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Waller and Margaret Edge, and sister Gail Edge.

“To honor Mr. Edge and his dedication to our industry,” the ESCO Group closed its office at noon Central time on May 20. The office reopened on May 23.
