COURSE DESCRIPTION:Developed by Oklahoma State University, the training program ensures that a standardized installation process exists to maximize the efficiency of geoexchange systems. Topics include ground-source heat pump system design, material options, system layout, grouting concepts, pipe joining techniques, trenching and drilling process, air and debris purging, pressure drop calculations, pump and fluid selection, and thermal conductivity. Upon successful completion of the workshop and passing the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) installer’s examination, participants will receive IGSHPA installer accreditation and a three-year membership/accreditation with IGSHPA. COURSE TITLE:The Screw Chiller Service and Repair Course

COURSE DESCRIPTION:The course is structured to provide basic classroom instruction, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises designed to familiarize the student with the product features, installation requirements, and service procedures for McQuay screw chiller products and McQuay screw compressor service procedures. The emphasis will be to enhance the techs’ knowledge of good service and electrical troubleshooting practices. Screw compressor service procedures will also be covered using models in the shop.
