COURSE DESCRIPTION:This four-hour seminar is designed for the entry-level and seasoned service technician. It will provide the technician with a basic understanding of how a variable-speed motor works and how to diagnose and troubleshoot various issues. Topics will include the differences between a motor problem compared to a control circuit problem, utilizing the go-no go method and the solid-state control method. The class will also explore some duct designs and airflow issues that are problematic with today’s duct systems. Technicians earn four North American Technician Excellence CEHs toward all specialties for completing this course and/or two BPI continuing education credits.www.eh-cc.org
