Model ERCH and Model VER energy recovery ventilators with digital scroll compressors improve temperature and humidity control and save energy. Featuring an integral controller with a time-averaging sequence, the rate at which the scrolls are engaged and disengaged varies in order to match the required cooling capacity. Using digital scrolls for capacity control provides leaving air temperatures as precise as 1°F, and offers cooling capacity turndown from 10 to 100 percent. The models offer chilled-water, direct expansion, split system, and integral condensing cooling options and hot-water, indirect gas, and electric heating options. Features of the VER include 2-inch double wall housing, high-efficiency centrifugal plenum supply fan, and increased pressure capabilities to 3 inches wg on supply. The ERCH has forward curved fans and handles applications up to 1.5 inches wg external static pressure.
