The up to 17 SEER Halcyon HFI Hybrid Flex Inverter heat pump line has been expanded to include higher efficiencies. New units include the 18,000-Btu dual-zone system with connected capacity of up to 21,000 Btu, 24,000-Btu trizone with connected capacity of up to 27,000 Btu, and 36,000-Btu quadzone with connected capacity of up to 39,000 Btu - none of which require branch boxes or separation tube assemblies. The R-410A systems are a cross between variable refrigerant flow (VRF) and multizone technology. Condensing units - 18,000, 24,000, 36,000, or 48,000 Btu - can be combined with wall-mounted, cassette, or slim duct indoor units. HFI systems provide connectible capacity from 80 to 130 percent, or from 14,000-62,000 Btu.
