American National Standards Institute (ANSI)public review period for its “BSR/ACCA 5 QI -201x, HVAC Quality Installation Specification.” The deadline for comments is Oct. 4.

• TheBuilding Performance Institute Inc. (BPI)is seeking applications from individuals interested in serving on its Standards Technical Committee. Interested parties should submit an application by Oct. 14.

• The

Heating, Airconditioning and Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI)will hold its annual conference Oct. 23-26 in Houston.

• TheAir Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA),Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors - National Association (PHCC), andRefrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES)collaborated to produce a comprehensive four-year textbook series; the first three apprenticeship manuals - HVACR 101, 201, and 301 - are now available for sale.
