EARTH CITY, Mo. - Trane’s Heartland Dealer Sales Office (DSO) in Earth City, Mo., along with Trane dealer Design Aire Heating & Cooling in St. Louis have donated new HVAC systems and installation time to the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway raffle. The Dream Home is the grand prize for this community service project that will benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

“After learning about the St. Jude Dream Home project, we were excited to be a part of this worthy cause,” said Mark Adams, district manager for Trane’s Heartland DSO. “We wanted to make this a true Dream Home, so we provided an upgraded system that will create additional comfort and value.”

For the Dream Home, the Heartland DSO donated 2.5-ton and 3.5-ton Trane systems, including XL15i Series air conditioning units, XV95 variable speed gas furnaces, high-efficiency coils, programmable thermostats, and a Trane CleanEffects™ whole-house air cleaner. The Trane XV95 variable speed gas furnace delivers a 95 percent annual fuel utilization efficiency (AFUE) rating. It is designed with two-stage gas valves and variable speed motors delivering not only high efficiency and the ultimate in home comfort, said Trane, but considerable money savings, too. The XL15i is the quietest of all Trane single-stage outdoor units. Both systems meet or exceed the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) Energy Star guidelines.

“Trane products do more with less energy,” said Adams. “A furnace like the Trane XV95 Design Aire installed in the Dream Home helps this home stay as comfortable as the family wants it to be, using significantly less energy. It provides a family peace of mind. The variable speed indoor fans provide better humidity control and the Trane CleanEffects whole-house air cleaner removes up to 99.98 percent of the particles and allergens from the home’s filtered air, providing a cleaner, healthier living environment.”

The 3,311-square-foot St. Jude Dream Home is valued at $525,000 and is located in the Talbridge community in St. Charles, Mo. The drawing for the grand prize of the home takes place Sept. 10 and will be broadcast on FOX Channel 2 – KTVI Television in St. Louis. The Dream Home will be open to the public every Saturday and Sunday through Sept. 5.
