WATERBURY, Conn. - To welcome the heating season, Torrington Supply and Litco Supply hosted a Heating Show at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville, Conn. More than 350 heating contractors attended the event, now in its fourth year.

Special guest speaker Dan Holohan caught the attention of many with his message on “Classic Hydronics.” Holohan said he was “very impressed” with the way Torrington Supply and Litco Supply “showed how much they truly care for their customers by giving them this gift - the heating show.” He added, “There was a high level of interest on all topics.”

On the floor were 65 exhibitors showing new and upgraded products for the heating season, including A.O. Smith, Burnham, Honeywell, R.W. Beckett, and Weil-McLain.

According to Matt Conant of A.O. Smith, “This was one of the better events we’ve exhibited at. Contractors asked many questions on the new technology, which ultimately kept them in the booth, which led to additional conversation.”

Dane Nobbs represented Weil-McLain and only had positive feedback on the event. “The venue was fantastic,” he said. “It drew a very substantial and well targeted crowd (owners, etc.) which ultimately gave us very good traffic, which enabled us to speak directly to the trade customer.” Nobbs added that he was impressed with the turnout and said, “We will definitely return next year.”

Chris Fasano, director of sales for Torrington and Litco’s parent company, TSC Distribution Group Inc., said, “Last year we were bridging the gap between contractor and manufacturer. This year we were continuing to foster those relationships and provide additional education for our customers and vendors.”

Attendee Todd Rossi of Norbert E. Mitchelle Co. Inc. said, “The show was awesome. I had never heard Dan Holohan speak and really enjoyed it. The entire show was very classy, which is only expected from Torrington and Litco Supply.”

According to TSC Distribution Group, plans for the 2011 heating show are already in the works.
