Staley Named Regional Representative of BCA

Timothy (Tim) Staley PE, CEM, LEED® AP, GBE, HFDP, vice president of Comfort Systems USA Energy Services, a subsidiary of Comfort Systems USA, has been appointed as regional representative Southeast for the Building Commissioning Association (BCA).

The BCA is an international non-profit organization that serves as an authority and resource on commissioning.

In his role, Staley will act as a liaison between the Southeast Regional Chapter of the Building Commissioning Association (SERBCA) and the national board of directors. Formerly, Staley acted as a member of the governing board of SERBCA.

“Tim will be a great addition to the board. A regional representative is an essential part of our association’s success at both national and regional chapter levels. Tim’s diligence, follow through, and natural leadership ensure that his contributions to the board, and to the BCA as a whole, will be significant,” remarked Ed Faircloth, LEED® AP, president of the BCA.

Staley said, “It is a real privilege to be a part of an organization like the BCA that has such a dramatic impact on the commissioning industry. The SERBCA chapter is one of the largest chapters in the BCA and I have enjoyed being a part of the governing board of SERBCA over the last couple of years. It is a real honor to be appointed to the national BCA board of directors by the SERBCA chapter as their liaison. I understand the responsibility that this position entails and it is my personal commitment to be persistent and serve to the best of my ability.”
