February 22, 2010
The high-efficiency console and vertical stack water-source heat pumps (WSHPs) have a sealed refrigerant system that employs R-410A refrigerant compressed by either a high-efficiency rotary compressor or scroll compressor (for 2-ton units and up) and routed through a copper tube/aluminum-fin evaporator and tube-within-a-tube heat exchanger (condenser). Features include easy-to-use digital control interface, high levels of energy efficiency, slide-out removable chassis or evaporator section for easy maintenance, high-pressure safety switch, and low-pressure safety switch. The Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners (PTACs), which include the ExactFit™ replacement units, and Candi high-efficiency, ultra-quiet PTAC product line, are designed to provide many years of efficient, hassle-free user-friendly operation, says the company. The units are designed and manufactured to operate on 115-, 208/230-, or 265/277-V, single-phase, 60-Hz circuits.
