BAC Announces CTI Certification

BALTIMORE, Md. - The Cooling Technology Institute (CTI) certified Baltimore Aircoil Co.’s (BAC’s) thermal performance of its FXV, VF1, and VFL Closed Circuit Cooling Towers with both ethylene and propylene glycol as the process fluid. According to BAC, this is the first time the thermal performance of closed circuit cooling towers has been certified with fluids other than water by CTI.

“For over 25 years, BAC has led the evaporative cooling industry to require independent verification of thermal performance through the CTI certification program,” said the company. “The value of having certified products is now widely recognized.”
