The new generation of CFW11 variable-frequency inverters feature Vectrue technology, which combines V/F, Sensorless Vector, VVW, and vector (with encoder) control techniques all in one product. The OptimalFlux™ technology allows one of the company’s standard totally enclosed, fan-cooled induction motors to operate at a much cooler temperature. The technology optimizes motor flux levels across the entire speed range. The inverters have efficiency ratings greater than 97 percent and offer design features that improve motor control and operational functions. Pairing one of the company’s ac induction motors with the inverter gives users a motor-drive package that reduces heat buildup, doubles service life, and reduces operating costs. Features of the inverters include plug-and-play technology for easy installation and safe operation, a built-in memory card to create functions without the use of an external programmable logic controller, and a USB connection for PC and Windows® environments.
