JerryRig LLC: Temporary Carting Handles
November 24, 2008
This set of temporary handles is designed to be screwed on for the removal of old furnaces and/or water heaters or strapped on to bring in new equipment. It allows the person on the top side of the stairs the ability to grip the appliance with correct posture, helping to protect from back injuries. The handles can be used to carry square or round objects up and down stairs. According to the company, it is also helpful in avoiding gouged walls and marked floors that are often caused by truck dollies. When carrying the old furnace out, attach each handle with sheet metal screws. The handles come with ratchet straps for use when carrying in new equipment.
