ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. - Denis Labelle, executive vice president of T. A. Morrison & Co. Inc (TAMCO) of Ottawa, Ontario, was elected as president of the Air Movement and Control Association International (AMCA International) at the association’s annual meeting held in Savannah, Ga. Labelle’s area of focus will center on communications to both new and established members, centering on increased understanding of how each individual member contributes to AMCA’s growth in their industry segment.

“I plan to communicate how individual involvement on a committee or task force can be beneficial and worthwhile for member respective companies,” he said.

For the past 16 years Labelle has been an active participant with AMCA International, contributing to the development of many AMCA policies and strategic planning. He was elected to the board of directors in 2001 where he served as Chairman of the Dues and Assessment Task Force and has served on the Executive Committee since 2006, including this past year as AMCA International’s vice president.
