ST. LOUIS - Emerson Climate Technologies announced that its Lebanon, Mo., Copeland Scroll® compressor plant recently rolled out the red carpet to St. Louis area contractors. Various Emerson Climate divisions teamed up to provide a plant tour and a full day of training for over 50 contractor attendees.

“We wanted to invite local contractors to join us for a unique tour of our facility as well as a few informational sessions,” said Ken Perkins, director, Contractor Support Team, Emerson Climate Technologies. “We felt that it would be a great opportunity for contractors to experience firsthand the engineering and passion behind our products.”

While there, contractors not only received a tour of the facility, but were also educated on a number of the products available from Emerson Climate Technologies. Some of the informational sessions included:

• The Benefits of Emerson Rescue Motors - Jake Schnarre, Emerson Motors

• EK Filter Drier Demonstration - Don McClanahan and Rich Weisner, Emerson Flow Controls division

• History of the Copeland Scroll Compressor and the R-410A Transition - Scott Lanzer, Emerson Climate Technologies

• The Contractor Support Team and New White-Rodgers Products - Ken Perkins, White-Rodgers

“I would recommend attending this tour,” said Henry Hoff, Hoff Heating and A/C. “Not only was it great to see the internal works of a compressor and the engineering that goes on behind the scenes, but it was also a good opportunity to talk with the other HVAC contractors that were there.”

Due to the success of this year’s event, the company is already planning another tour of the facility for next year. For more information on Emerson Climate Technologies, visit www.emersonclimate.com.
