PITTSBURGH - Temp-Control Mechanical Service Corp. (TCMS), a Linc Service® contractor, has purchased franchise rights for the Seattle market.

TCMS signed the new agreement to extend its reach across the Pacific Northwest. This marks the sixth franchise location for TCMS, headquartered in Portland, Ore., and the fourth overall for Linc Network in the state of Washington. The Seattle franchise joins TCMS’ two other franchise locations in Washington (Lacey and Longview), as well as its three locations in Oregon (Eugene, Portland, and Salem).

With its newest location, TCMS will continue following the disciplines of the Linc System® to deliver preventive maintenance as well as HVAC service and bundled energy solutions to the commercial market. As a Linc Service contractor, TCMS is part of the Linc Service Network, an organization of more than 140 members across the United States, Canada, Bermuda, and Mexico.

“In a million years, we never thought the largest metropolitan area in the Pacific Northwest would become available for purchasing a Linc franchise,” said TCMS Principal Bill Moore. “Although establishing a presence in Seattle was not part of our strategic planning, when the area did become available, it was a no-brainer that we had to move forward and start selling Linc Service in this territory.”

Moore added that TCMS already has begun hiring sales professionals and pursuing maintenance agreements with local businesses in the area. A Linc Service contractor since 1983 and three-time winner of the Linc Service Contractor of the Year Award, TCMS is one of the largest mechanical service companies in the Pacific Northwest. The company is privately-owned and specializes in the maintenance and repair of heating and air conditioning systems, building and system analysis, design/installation/upgrade, control systems, and all other elements of commercial and industrial environmental systems.

“Bill and his staff have been at the forefront of our Network for many years, so we congratulate them on this exciting new endeavor,” said Scott Giacobbe, Linc Network president and CEO. “The possibilities for growth and expansion in Seattle are limitless, so we know that TCMS will make the most of this new opportunity to strengthen their service business.”

Headquartered in Pittsburgh and Atlanta, Linc Network LLC is the franchisor of the Linc System, a business format for operating a commercial HVAC service business. For more information, visit www.lincservice.com.
