National Oilheat Research Alliance: Oil Heat Tech Training Manual
September 29, 2008
The Oilheat Technicians Manual has been newly revised. The detailed manual covers topics required for basic oil heat training and NORA Silver certification. It is an ideal reference for all oil heat technicians - either those just entering the field or those that have some experience, said the association. Some of the subjects covered are pumps, controls, fuel quality, customer service, motors, draft/venting, oil burners, tanks/piping, electricity, tune-up procedures, nozzles, and combustion. This edition of the book is more concise and there are more how-to and step-by-step instructions for oil heat training procedures. The 356-page, spiral bound training manual is in an easy-to-read format and now uses color diagrams and photos throughout.
