ST. LOUIS - The Nordyne Regional Road Show is getting up to speed, with the first show scheduled for Aug. 4 in Nashville, Tenn. The truck has been loaded with the latest HVAC offerings across the company’s five flagship brands. Attendees can expect to see new low-profile furnaces and high SEER split-system condensing units.

“With a new furnace lineup ranging from 80-96-plus AFUE, we’ve packed as many models as possible into the show so contractors can get an up-close look at the new equipment,” said Doug Jones, vice president of marketing and sales for Nordyne.

The company’s road show furnaces include a fully modulating 96-plus-AFUE furnace; a two-stage, fixed-speed 95.1 percent-AFUE downflow furnace; a Maytag M1200 two-stage, fixed-speed, 95.1 percent-AFUE furnace; a Maytag M120 two-stage, fixed-speed, 92.1 percent-AFUE furnace; a Frigidaire two-stage, fixed-speed, 80 percent-AFUE furnace; a Tappan two-stage, variable-speed, 95.1 percent-AFUE furnace; a Westinghouse two-stage, variable-speed, 80 percent-AFUE furnace; and a NuTone single-stage, fixed-speed, 80 percent-AFUE furnace.

Distributors and contractors will also have the opportunity to see the iQ Drive air conditioner. The award-winning unit uses inverter rotary technology to achieve the industry’s highest SEER ratings, says the company.

“Inverter rotary is technology that’s going to change HVAC,” noted Jones. “We encourage all contractors to attend the shows so they can see this system in person.”

Along with the iQ Drive 23 SEER air conditioner, contractors and distributors can also check out the company’s 16 SEER two-stage heat pump.

In addition to showcasing this equipment, the Nordyne Regional Road Show will provide information on ecoLogic (the company’s new green initiative) along with proposal tools, indoor coils, and more. The company will also be awarding one attendee at each show a deluxe NASCAR racing package, including two tickets to the winner’s track of choice, hotel accommodations, and a monetary gift card.
