PHILADELPHIA - Thomson Reuters has partnered with Intertek, one of the world’s largest independent testing, inspection, and certification companies, to launch a new online standards store at www.intertek-standards.com and www.intertek-etlsemko.com. This new store is supported by Thomson Reuters’ Techstreet (www.techstreet.com), and offers a wide range of industry codes and standards to ensure safety, quality, and compliance in manufactured products. Product testing and certification customers also can receive updates on standards via custom e-mail alerts.

Visitors to the Intertek Standards Store can search, order, and download industry codes, standards, and technical information from over 350 of the world’s leading standards developing organizations, including ANSI, API, UL, ASQ, ASME, ASTM, AWS, BSI, CSA, DIN, IEC, IEEE, ISO, NFPA, MIL Specs, and others. Customers can purchase single copies in print or PDF format, and receive 10 percent off Techstreet prices. They can also get company-wide multi-user access to a custom set of documents.

Additional benefits include self-serve functionality, electronic download options, free tracking alert service, and enterprise subscription offerings. Also, Intertek clients already using MyTestCentral, a Web-based management system for product testing and certification, will receive proactive standards updates, which they can use to schedule product testing and compliance audits.

Jasmine Martirossian, Intertek’s manager of global Internet marketing, said, “We chose Techstreet because they are an acknowledged leader in online information delivery and customer service.”
