Nicor Services, Naperville, Ill., announced that it has been awarded the Carrier 2008 President’s Award, one of Carrier’s highest honors for its dealers. Nicor Services is the only HVAC company in Illinois to receive the honor.

Hawthorn Heating and Air Conditioning in Wauconda and Machesney Park, a Nicor Services company, has been recognized as a dealer that exemplifies quality in customer service and is considered one of Carrier’s model Factory Authorized Dealers (FAD) when working with consumers. Tradewinds Heating and Air Conditioning in Naperville and D.M. Dykstra Heating and Air Conditioning in Crestwood are also Nicor Services companies, serving the western and southern suburbs, respectively.

In line with Carrier's brand strategy, the selection criteria for 2008 focused on leadership, management, customer intimacy, brand recognition, industry expertise, and operational excellence in all areas critical to exceeding the quality comfort and performance expectations of Carrier customers.
